Meet at 8.30am at the main entrance to Wellington Gravel Pits, with a finish time around mid-day.
Directions; turn off the A49 Wellington Bypass towards Marden Village along Orchard Green/Hayward Lane, about half mile on the right is the main entrance; Tarmac Wellington. Grid ref: SO506476.
Parking through the gates on the left.
Flat terrain along the footpaths on site. (easy walking)
If wet, wellingtons or walking boots, waterproof clothing.
The walk will explore the various habitats around the site and listen for the species of warbler that breed at Wellington, this can be up to nine species with others that can occur.
