HOC Coffee Morning Thursday 23rd June, Eardisland Village Hall
Come and meet other HOC members, catch up with old friends, and have an informal chat about birds.
Come and share your experiences and special moments. If you have photographs or sound recordings you would like to share, we can arrange to show them.
We will be in the village hall from 10:00 till 12:00, so drop in whenever you can. There is also a short field meeting / walk beforehand to which everyone is welcome.
Agenda
8.30am to 9.45am: Farmland walk around the edge of the village starting at the village hall with leader Nick Smith (This is optional)
10am: Introduction to the meeting (Nick Smith)
10.10am to 10.30am: Short talk on different bird surveys (Nick Smith)
10.30am to 11am: Photographs and discussion about birds and birdwatching. The main topic: warblers, finches and buntings.
11am to 12noon: Tea, coffee, cake and discussion about the immediate and long-term future of HOC. Find out what the club currently offers and tell us what more you would like.
Directions:
From the east (Leominster) enter the village on the B4259, cross the river bridge and turn left at The Cross Inn. From the south, proceed through the village turning right at the Cross Inn. Follow the signs to the village hall. There is ample parking. Postcode HR6 9BP or NGR: SO421583.
