About the event
This is a circular walk, proceeding towards the River Wye via Canary Bridge to Bartonsham Meadows. Mixed habitats, including, riverbank/scrub and floodplain meadows, should provide a good variety of birds (Grasshopper Warbler has been recorded here) and if not, weather permitting, lots of butterflies.
We may also take an optional walk through a small wooded area – the terrain for this part of the walk is on very narrow very uneven paths. For those who would like to we can finish our walk with a visit to The Munitions coffee lounge.
The walk should take around 2/3 hours and cover around 3 miles
