About the event
An Autumn Walk into the Olchon Valley with the hope of catching Ring Ouzel on their return passage. This is a fantastic area and we should see other good upland species such as raptors, Raven and arriving Autumn thrushes.
The first part of the walk is quite steep with some rocky terrain, so as it is an upland area, walking boots, waterproof/warm clothing advised. Once we have turned into the valley the walk gets easier with great views.
Lunch to be carried with the aim of having lunch in the valley.
Directions: Meet for 10am in the Darren car park O/S SO298299. From Hereford take the A465 to Pandy village. Turn right at The Pandy Inn onto the minor road to Longtown.
