About the event
The walk will take in the eastern slope of Hergest Ridge where species like Stonechat, Yellowhammer, Willow Warbler and a few other summer migrants should be present, along with Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Linnet plus a raptor or two on the moorland.
We will then drop down and walk through Park Wood where we will look for Wood Warbler and other woodland species. Expect around 3 hours in total.
Option for a short visit to nearby Bradnor Hill in the early afternoon. In which case bring lunch.
