About the event
Meet at the Forestry Commission Vinnalls car park in Mortimer Forest. Situated 3 miles SW of Ludlow at Grid Ref SO474731
Explore one of the largest blocks of mixed woodland in the region, in search of migrants including Wood Warbler, Redstart and Pied Flycatcher. The forest is home to some scarcer birds that with luck we may also encounter.
2-3 miles with some inclines.
