Canon Frome - Farmland Birds

Meet at Canon Frome Court car park behind the main house HR8 2TD at 9am. (The GPS often misguides people to the back lane to Mill Cottage. Go to the main gates next to the kennels just off the Leominster Rd A417).

After noting any Martins or Swallows around the main house from the car park, we will walk towards the Church garden, then around the lake looking for warblers and waterfowl.

We’ll then head out of the Court towards Stretton Grandison and The Homend and walk through the park, woodlands and fields.

We’ll head back to Canon Frome Court, maybe walking along the river bank on the way back looking for Dipper and Kingfisher. Once back at the Court if there’s time, we can explore the farmland where we might find Yellowhammers and various finches.
