Bythan, near Bromyard - Summer Migrants

A morning’s walk around this interesting small farm with a mixture of habitats, looking for newly arrived summer migrants. The walk should last about 2 to 3 hours and have some hilly slopes in places. Suitable footwear will be required for muddy sections if wet conditions prevail.

Directions: Meet at 9.30am at ‘Bythan’, by kind invitation of Hilary and Peter Hillier (SO666530). The entrance to the farm is off the Avenbury Lane from Bromyard. Parking is by the house about 400 metres along a stoned track.
