Bradnor Hill and Warren Wood - Golden Plover & Raptors

We will walk the top loop around the edge of the golf course looking for Golden Plover and Raptors. This is a 75-minute walk on gentle grass covered slopes. Returning to our cars, we will then drive to nearby Warren Wood, Powys for two short stops. Possible birds here include Siskin, Stonechat, Redpoll, Crossbill and Raptors and the possibility of a few water birds at the second stop. The meeting is weather dependant. Directions: Meet in the top car park above Kington Golf Club (satnav HR5 3RE – drive passed the club house and continue along the lane for as far as you can go).
