Bodenham Lake - River Lugg & The Vern Loop

Bodenham Lake is one of Herefordshire's prime birding sites. This is a good opportunity for new members or prospective members to meet like-minded birders with easy birding.

We will visit the three hides looking for a variety of waterfowl and waders.

We will then walk along a section of the River Lugg as well as across fields looking for farmland birds, and visit a small private lake preserve, hoping for more waterfowl.

Prepare for some walking to be wet and muddy.

Carry lunch.
