Wildlife & Birds of Poland

Speaker Richard Bashford, Senior Project Officer RSPB.  Richard began working for the British Trust for Ornithology in 1995, running the  Breeding Bird Survey, and has worked at the RSPB in Sandy since 2001 running projects such as the Big Garden Birdwatch. Richard has travelled widely in search of wildlife and  has taken part in ornithological projects in Kenya, Botswana, Jordan  and Albania and China (the latter searching for Spoon-billed  Sandpipers). Richard has made many trips to Poland over the last twenty years. This evening he gives us a virtual tour of Poland's most well-known wildlife locations and the fascinating birds and other wildlife that are to be found there.
